Christopher L. “Conky” Isaacs, age 41, of Hamler and formerly of Delta, passed away Thursday night October 15, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo from injuries received in an auto accident earlier that day.
Christopher was born in Bowling Green, OH on May 1, 1974 to the late Robert Isaacs Sr. and Merry (Dauwalter) Isaacs who survives. Conky attended Delta High School and graduated in 1992. On October 10, 1992 he married Tabitha Turi. He was a self-employed drywall and plasterer, operating Isaac’s Drywall. He was a member of the American Legion in Hamler.
Along with his mother, Merry, Christopher is survived by his wife, Tabitha (Turi) Isaacs; brothers, Robert Berry Jr. of Toledo and Robert (Mandy) Isaacs Jr. of Defiance; sisters, Shelly (Jeromy Willitzer) Curtis of Defiance and Tonja (Josh) Bowers of Marysville, OH; and loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Robert Sr., he was preceded in death by his brother, Chester Isaacs in 1988. Conky also leaves behind his special friend Tina Black and beloved pets, Fat Fred and Precious. Conky was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and very fond of his Hamler homestead and friends; “It is all good in the Hamler Hood”.
Friends and family will be received from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where a funeral service honoring his life will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.
