Denise S. Sullivan, age 65, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. She had worked at C.E. Electronics in Bryan. Denise was born May 31, 1952 in Defiance, Ohio to the late Ernest and Constance (Blake) Grahn. Denise married Royce Short, who preceded her in death in 1987. In 1989, Denise married Larry Sullivan, and he survives. Denise loved to bake, cook, tend to her flowers, and all animals. She was also very skilled with a sewing machine.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and her husband is brother, Charlie Wink; brother, Daniel Wink; and brother, Andrew Grahn. Surviving Denise is her husband, Larry; step-daughter Robin (Eric) Stewart of Delphos, Ohio; and step-grandchildren Kyle, Kevin, and Craig. Also surviving Denise is a brother David (Betsy) Grahn of Napoleon, Ohio; brother James Grahn of Stryker, Ohio; sister-in-law Anna Sprow of Stryker; brother-in-law Jeff Sprow of Stryker; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Denise will be held at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker, Ohio at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 20, 2018 with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
