Donelda Mae Smith, age 88, passed away at her home, Tuesday evening, July 7, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born at home near Winameg, Ohio on April 19, 1932 to the late Douglas and Hazel Alice (Galbraith) Lozer. Donelda was a 1950 graduate of Delta High School.
She is survived by her spouse of sixty-five years, Elgin Smith. Also surviving are her children, Deborah (Dennis) Ford, Everett (Sandra) Neville, Diane (Gary) Lohman, Kevin Smith, Denise (Kenneth) Grime, and Dena (Dawn) Smith. She (along with her Sunday meals) will also be greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren, Brooke, Bryon, Shannon, Dana, Doug, Annie, Jeremy, Alice, Adam, Tyler, Charity, Gus and Tyler; 19 great grandchildren, Lauren, Kylee, Hunter, Mackenzie, Kim, Sam, Ella, Anthony, Brison, Danica, Logan, Jadon, Thomas, Payne, Anna, Jovi, Kira, Breccan, Carter and two on the way; great-great grandchildren, Beckett and Tess.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Everett (Gene) Neville, her sister, Juanita Hallet, and four brothers, Donald, Dale, Ronald and Roger David, along with a great-granddaughter, Winter.
A memorial gathering is to be held Monday, July 13th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. with services to follow at Grisier~Weigel Funeral Home in Delta. Pastor Don Krieger will be officiating.
