Douglas Lee Witty, age 64, of Wauseon, passed away in his home, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Douglas retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, serving with the 180th Fighter Wing. After retirement he had worked at Ace Hardware in Wauseon.
Doug was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 6, 1954, the son of Clyde and Lavonne (Helle) Witty. On July 10, 1986, he married Denise Lynne Neill, and she survives. He was 1972 graduate of Clay High School.
Also surviving are two sons, Lance Douglas (Samantha) Witty of Austin, TX, Travis Israel Witty of Wauseon; daughter, Laura Nicole (David) Dubry of Wauseon; and two brothers, Dennis Witty of Las Vegas, NV and Danny Witty of Oregon, Ohio. He was preceded in death by both parents.
