EDGERTON BOARD OF EDUCATION: Two Executive Sessions Held Around Short January Regular Meeting

The Edgerton Board of Education met on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 6 p.m., with Board Vice President Lyn Bowsher, Amanda Giesige, Nick Hug, Board President Robert Siebenaler, and Bill Swank present.

The agenda for the evening was accepted as presented, as were the minutes of the regular and organizational meetings held in December, which included the approved 2024 meeting list which will be the third Monday of each month, with no meeting scheduled for July.

They then entered into executive session, exiting at 6:14 p.m., returning to approve the treasurer’s agenda as presented, which included financial reports, bills, resource and investment modifications for December 2023.

Administrative recommendations were approved as presented, which included the approval of the wrestling team’s overnight trip to Toledo on January 5-6.

Personnel recommendations were approved as presented before the board entered into their second executive session of the evening at 6:31 p.m., from which they did not exit until 9:05 p.m.
