SUPPORTING CANCER PATIENTS … Dianne Barndt, Executive Director of The Victory Center was the speaker at a recent Bryan Rotary Club meeting. The Victory Center is a cancer wellness center with a vision that no one should go through the cancer journey alone. There are three locations, Toledo, Perrysburg, and a new one in Defiance. Cancer patients, survivors and family members receive free programs and services including massage treatments that help manage side effects, supports groups, various yoga classes, educational programs with nutrition and meditation, family support, and a wig bank. The center provides a community of shared experiences, understanding, and compassion and is completely free of charge. The new Defiance location is in the Promedica Regional Hospital and is having an open house Thursday, December 12, 4-6PM.
