FAYETTE: February 3, 2014 – Fayette hosted the Lady Vikings of Evergreen on February 3, overpowering the Lady Vikings 64-55.
Lady Eagle Head Coach Kevin Miller stated after the game “Great team effort tonight! I thought our intensity helped to wear them down a bit. It was nice to see so many different girls make a big contribution tonight.”
As a team, the Lady Eagles dominated both ends of the court, out-rebounding Evergreen 15-7 on the offensive side and 17-9 on the defensive end.
Paving the way for Fayette, Taylor Griffiths had a huge night, dropping in 20 while teammates Kaela Seiler joined her in double figures with 17 along with Alexis Fruchey’s 14. Paige Keefer chipped in 5 while both Michaela Bates and Jessie Wheeler followed up with 4.
