The Fayette Sunoco held its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Friday, August 5th. The celebration took place around 11:30 a.m. outside the convenience store.

In attendance were the owners, their family members and employees. Also in attendance were members of the Community Development Corporation, Village of Fayette, Police Chief Jason Simon and Sergeant Bill McConnell, and members of the Fayette Fire Department.

The convenience store, located at 418 East Main Street, will be open every day from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Services provided at the location include Noble Roman’s Pizza, low priced and quality gas, a big selection of beer from their beer cave, a large collection of vapes, snack food and candies, diesel, kerosene and propane tanks.

There is also a large parking lot at the back of the building for semi-trucks.

Owners Gursewak Singh, Manpreet Singh, and Manmohan Singh own eight gas stations in total with locations in Williams, Fulton, Defiance and Wood Counties.

The brands range from Marathon to Shell and of course, Sunoco. The owners stated that they are looking forward to their time in the Fayette community.

“We appreciate the community, and we like the area here. We are getting a good response. Our plan is to try our best to support the community as a small-scale business.”

“We look forward to doing good business in the community,” said Gursewak Singh, Manpreet Singh, and Manmohan Singh.
