Flossie Mae Wohlford, 84 of Pioneer died Sunday evening at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan. She was born October 10, 1928 in Melbern Ohio to Marion E. and Carma W. (Miller) Wines. Flossie graduated from Pioneer High School in 1946. She was the wife of Louis Wohlford and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1999.
Flossie was a nurse’s aide at the Bryan Hospital and at Morenci Hospital. She had also been a clerk at Gambles store in Pioneer for a number of years.
Flossie attended the Madison Church of God.
She is survived by a sister Phyllis E. Clark of rural Camden Michigan.
Flossie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother in law Bernard “Barney” Clark.
Visitation hours for Flossie will be on Wednesday January 16th from 4 -8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Services will be Thursday at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Wilder to officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.
