The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Thursday, February 19, 2026. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and a roll call of members present.
Commissioners first addressed routine business, approving the minutes from the February 17, 2026, session. The agenda for the day was then approved as amended.
Under new business, commissioners approved an increase in appropriations for the Fulton County Auditor’s Office. Resolution 2026-134 authorized a $625 increase to the Professional Services line item to cover auditor-related expenses. Commissioners also approved purchase orders and travel requests as submitted.
The board then conducted the first hearing on the petition for Single County Ditch No. 2154, commonly referred to as the Schrock Ditch.

During the hearing, it was noted that the Fulton County Fair Board is a landowner on the proposed improvement and requested additional time to secure formal board approval.
Commissioners granted the request and continued the first hearing until March 10, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. to allow the fair board to review the agreement at its upcoming March meeting.
With no further business to address, the meeting was adjourned.
