“When I started teaching with Bryan schools, it was right here,” said Bryan Parks and Recreation board member Paula Kline, gesturing out to where Lincoln Elementary once stood.

“We would have to take our kids to Fort Wayne just so they could go to a playground where they too could play…my dream is coming true today,” she continued.

The dream that Ms. Kline was speaking on is the going forward with erecting a playground where parents and children of all ability levels can go to learn and grow together, which will take physical form in the Lincoln Park Inclusive Playground.

HONORARY FLAG Flying over the new Lincoln Park Inclusive Playground will be a US flag that was flown over Washington DC

Speaking at the event with Paula Kline were Bryan City Mayor Carrie Schlade, Ohio Representative Jim Hoops, Ohio Senator Rob McColley, and Stuart James, the Executive Director of the Ability Center of Greater Toledo.

A special moment took place when a United States flag that was flown over the capitol at Washington DC was dedicated to be flown over Lincoln Park Inclusive Playground once completed.

Everyone present was excited for what the future holds for Lincoln Park, especially the opportunity for families with members of all ability levels to play together right here in Williams County, Bryan Ohio.
