Hilltop 12 North Baltimore 6

WEST UNITY – Hilltop scored twice in the first half and then leaned on their defense to secure their first win since 2019, snapping a 22-game losing streak.

The Cadets held North Baltimore to 126 yards of offense, forced three turnovers, and were able to hold the Tigers (1-3) to 0/11 on third down.


Branson Heisey ran for 62 yards for the Cadets and Cameron Schlosser was 6/18 passing for 72 yards and a touchdown.

 Patrick Henry 40 Swanton 7

SWANTON – Patriots quarterback Nash Meyer was 18/21 for 279 yards and two touchdowns to help Patrick Henry to a convincing win at Swanton to start NWOAL play.

Landon Johnson was the top pass catcher for the Patriots with nine grabs for 149 yards. Camron Kirtz led the Bulldogs offense by running for 117 yards on 13 carries.

PIONEER –A Joey Burt 20-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave the Eagles a 22-20 lead, but the Trojans responded with 64-yard pass for the game-winning touchdown.

North Central rallied from a 20-0 halftime hole as Joey Burt scored form 19 yards out and Quin Burt scored on an 18-yard scamper before the Joey Burt score to take the lead.

HAVILAND – The Raiders (1-3, 0-1 GMC) scored with 22 seconds remaining to draw with 21-20 but Edgerton snuffed out the Wayne Trace two-point conversion to preserve the win.

Edgerton scored all their points in the first half behind a pair of touchdown runs by Corey Everetts and 58-yard tote by Owen Roth.

Everetts went 10/19 passing for 122 yard while rushing 26 times for 89 yards.

Archbold 28 Bryan 14

ARCHBOLD – The Bluestreaks recovered from an early 7-0 deficit with 28 straight points including a score from their special teams to grind out a 28-14 win over Bryan.

With Bryan leading 7-0, Archbold running back would get Archbold on the board with a one-yard TD run to tie the game 7-7.

Archbold took control with two touchdowns within a 1:33 as Cade Brenner threw to Chase Miller for a 15-yard touchdown followed by Lance Bauer blocking a punt deep in Bryan territory that was recovered in the end zone by Hayden Dickman.

Dominique added another score in the fourth quarter and closed the game with 172 yards on 23 carries.

Jase Kepler was the catalyst for the Golden Bears offense with 120 yards passing and 122 yards rushing.

METAMORA – After Delta had relinquished a 20-6 lead, the Panthers responded with a Phil Smithers 25-yard field goal as time expired to lift Delta to a 23-21 win.

Two of Evergreen’s three touchdowns came via special teams as Riley Dunbar returned the game’s opening kickoff 95 yards and Colton Robertson returned at kick 90 yards for a score in the third quarter.

Jeremiah Wolford carried the offensive load for the Panthers with 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
