HOME RUN DERBY … 42 Field, which is located at 18333 County Road 10.50 just west of Pioneer, held its opening day activities on Saturday, June 6, featuring a home run derby contest, marking the 16th season of baseball and other activities since its founding in 2009. Also being planned this summer are Sandlot Saturday on June 20, a kickball fundraiser on July 11 to benefit the Pioneer Community Church food pantry, a three-day baseball tournament on July 24-26, and a Wiffle Ball Day on Aug. 8 to benefit the Williams County Humane Society.
