Classic cars, polished chrome and the sounds of old-school hits filled downtown Bryan Thursday evening as the 2026 Bryan Cruise-In season officially kicked off on the square.
Community members packed the downtown area for the first cruise-in of the summer, which featured “Truck Night” as the theme.
Vehicles lined the streets surrounding the square, with organizers estimating around 100 vehicles or more throughout the evening.
The event showcased everything from restored classics and muscle cars to newer sports models. A live DJ played classic hits while attendees walked the square, admired vehicles and visited the pop-up market on the north end of the square.
A 50/50 raffle was also held during the event, giving participants the chance to win a jackpot while helping support future cruise-in activities and events throughout the season.
The Bryan Cruise-In series will continue weekly through the summer with themed nights, feature events and grand cruise-ins planned in the coming months.
Judging by Thursday’s turnout, waiting another full week for the next cruise-in may be the hardest part of the summer for some local car enthusiasts.
