James W. Doremus, age 57, of Wauseon, passed away December 13, 2021. Jim worked in home repair.

Jim was born on November 1, 1964, in Pennsylvania to the late Ben and Zita Doremus.

On June 20, 1992, Jim married his loving wife, Lisa (Adams), and she survives. James loved his family, playing pool, cards, fishing, and his beloved dog, Harvey.

Surviving James is his wife of 30 years, Lisa; children, Rebecca (Brian) Wodarski and Michael Ward; grandchildren, Braxton and Rayleigh Miller; sisters, Colleen Rouston of Montana, Fawn Hartman of Wauseon, and Erin (Bob) Southard; and many nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Blake Doremus.

Visitation for James will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Calling hours will last from 2pm – 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the benevolence of the family.


Online condolences may be left for the family at www.grisierfh.com. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home of Wauseon is honored to serve the Doremus family.
