Janet Marie Hall 84 years, of Bryan, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, at Bryan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Bryan, Ohio. Janet was born August 1, 1938, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl Franklin and Beulah B. (Smith) Snyder.
Janet attended Bryan High School. She married Wilbur Mercer in March 1953, and the marriage ended in divorce. She then married Gerald Koerber in June 1978, and that married dissolved in 1990.
She then married Bill Hall on September 25, 1991, and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2006. Janet was a courier for several medical testing agencies.
She had previously worked for Ohio Art Company, Spangler Candy Company, Hayes Albion, Tomco and Lester’s Diner. She was a member of the Bryan First Church of Christ. Janet enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Surviving are her two children, David Mercer of West Jefferson, and Karen A. Hosler of Bryan; two granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Carlin of Bryan, Ohio; one brother, Clifford (Kila) Wineland of Bryan, Ohio; Sister-in-law, Marilyn Wineland of Bryan, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Hall; one son, Douglas Mercer; two brothers, Ronald Snyder, and Melvin Wineland.
To honor Janet’s request, there will be no visitation or services at this time. She will be interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, Weirsdale, Florida. Local arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
