Janice Crocker (1941-2019)

Janice Eileen Crocker, 78 years, of Bryan passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Janice as born April 7, 1941 in Farmer, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Grace (Rice) Kleinhen. She was a 1959 graduate of Farmer High School. Janice married Webb H. Crocker on April 15, 1961 in Farmer, Ohio.

She worked at the Bryan Times in the Classified Ad Department until her retirement in 2011. Janice previously worked at the credit bureau and Ohio Art as a secretary. She previously attended New Hope Community Church. Janice volunteered at the Williams County Board of Elections. In her free time, Janice enjoyed spending time outdoors including fishing and camping. She especially cherished her time spent with her husband and family.

Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Webb Crocker of Bryan; three children, Dorcas (Daniel) Lamneck of Montpelier, Morris (Kelly) Crocker of Bryan and Jody Workman of Bryan; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce (George) Bair of Eustis, Florida and Joan Studebaker of Hicksville. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Cynthia Crocker.

Funeral Services for Janice Eileen Crocker will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home- Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan with Pastor Dave Nicholls officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am-12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
