Joseph Lee Brown, age 66, peacefully passed away at his Delta home surrounded by family on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Terrie Brown, his children; Veronica (Chuck) Vineyard of Ten Mile, TN, Judy Holmes of Cincinnati, OH, April Brown of Delta, OH and Markem Brown of Cookeville, TN; step-children, Jeremy (Shelly) Naugle of Oakwood, Ohio and Joshua Naugle of Toledo; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Jane Brown, Sue Brown, Pattie (Bill Baker) Roderick, Nancy Brown and Marion Brown; as well as sister-in-law, Janet Brown.
Joseph was preceded in death by both his parents, Sherman Brown Sr. in 1984 and Virgin (Stinehelfer) Brown in 2022; sister, Virgin Brown, Sarah Arthur and brother, Sherman Brown Jr. Let us not forget his 2 bloodhounds Jake in 2014 and Duke in 2019 who preceded him as well.
Joseph spent many years working in foundries till he retired in 2018 to spend his days doing what he loved; hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, only to teach them bad habits for their parents to forever cherish with memories.
Per his wishes there will be a private graveside service for his spouse, children and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be announced for all at a later date.
