Joshua David Elek, age 25, of Wauseon, passed away unexpectedly in the morning hours on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
He was born on July 5, 1996 to Eric Lally and Laurie A. Elek in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Joshua was a hard-working young man, who loved his family and friends.
He was a great jokester who loved having fun and a good time with friends and family. He was a kind, loving young man – always giving to others and offering a helping hand.
Josh was excited and looking forward to being a father of twin babies, their arrival is expected in October.
He is survived by his mother, Laurie Elek (James Bloomer); father, Eric Lally; siblings, Kayla Elek, Ava and Aaden Bloomer, Tyra Bloomer and Makita Bloomer; twin babies expected in October, Joshua D. Elek, Jr. and Jocelyn Davina Elek and their mother; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of dear friends – too many to list!
He was greeted in Heaven by his maternal grandma, Kathy Lipps and grandfather, David Elek.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, 219 S. Fulton St., Wauseon with a Funeral Service starting at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
