Juanita Marguerite (Ingall) Humbert, 93, of rural Fayette, died Tuesday evening, October 14, 2014, at her home. She was born September 8, 1921, in Chesterfield Township, OH, to the late William and Sylvia (Powers) Ingall. She married D. Keith Humbert on June 7, 1942, in Chesterfield Twp., OH, and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2006.
A lifelong resident of Fulton County, Juanita graduated from Chesterfield High School in 1938, and Davis Business College in Toledo, OH. A homemaker, she enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world, golfing, gardening, playing cards with friends, and most importantly the blessings of her family. Juanita was a member of the Fayette United Methodist Church.
Surviving Juanita are her two daughters, Janette (Robert) Yano of Fayette, and Jeanne (Terry) Toth of Tipp City, OH; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Humbert of Fayette; eight grandchildren, Robert (Jody) Yano, Jr., Scott (Christy) Yano, Chad (Annie) Yano, Ben Toth, Andy Toth, Kip (Kristy) Humbert, Melissa Humbert (and Aaron), and Kevin Humbert; 14 great-grandchildren, Kaci, Kadin, Mykhail, Mykaela, Madilynn, Maston, Eli, Storm (Holly), Colt (Bre), Slayde, Rayce, Braelyn, Breniam, and Zarian; and two great-great grandsons, Slayde and Hendrix.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Keith, she was preceded in death by her son, Bill Humbert, and her brother, Wilford Ingall.
A funeral service for Juanita Humbert will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fayette United Methodist Church with Pastor Katherine Currier officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette.
