Margaret (Kuney) Hayes, 78, of Frontier, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at her home. She was born March 26, 1944, in Fayette, OH to Arlo and Delia (Hiser) Kuney.
She married Bruce Hayes on October 23, 1964, and he survives.
Margaret attended Fayette Schools and was formerly employed at Fayette Tubular and Vaco Products in Jonesville. She also spent many years as a homemaker.
Margaret loved reading and trying her luck at the slot machines.
Surviving besides her husband, Bruce are two children, Barbara (Scott) Dahlstrom of Reading and Scott (Lisa) Hayes of Pioneer; grandchildren, Seth Jagger, Devin (Harmony) Jagger, Lauren (Nick) Signore, Chelsea, Makayla and Zachary Hayes; and great grandchildren, Claire, Cal, Niko and Rhetton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jeanette Kibler, Mary Kuney, Neva Camadoll, Arlene Wheeler, Gerald, Jerry, Larry, and Alan Kuney.
There will be no services or calling hours for Margaret Hayes at this time. Private family interment will take place at Frontier Cemetery at a later date.
