Margaret Hiner (1921-2013)

Margaret Edres Hiner, 91 of Pioneer died Tuesday March 12th at Bryan Care and Rehab in Bryan. She was born on December 4, 1921 in Amboy Township, Hillsdale County Michigan to Leo D. and Marjorie (Eagle) Eidenier. She was the wife of Howard M. Hiner.

Margaret was a Nurse’s Aide at the Figley Nursing Home in Pioneer. After her retirement she began work again as a Food Supervisor at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.

Margaret is survived by one grandchild Anathony Oaks of Fullerton California, two great grandchildren Michael R. Oaks and Anna Jean Oaks, two sister-in-laws Betty Eidenier of Waldron Michigan and Inella Eidenier of Pittsford Michigan, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard, daughter Anna Jean Oaks, five brothers L. C., Arlo, Donald, Raymond and Richard Eidenier.

Visitation for Margaret will be Saturday March 16th from 9-11am at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Services will follow at 11am with Reverend Michael D. Raypholtz to officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer. Donations may be made to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties. Online condolences can be made at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
