Marion R. Beck, 94 years, of West Unity passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon.
Marion was born August 30, 1923 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Ernie and Della (Summers) Nafziger.
She was a 1941 graduate of Fayette High School. Marion married Vincent J. Beck and he preceded her in death in August 1979. Marion worked for the former Castle Trailer Manufacturing in Stryker, and later worked in the cafeteria at Stryker School for 10 years. In her free time, Marion enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, baking and traveling. She especially cherished the time that she spent with her family and friends.
Surviving are her four children, Gary (Dorothy) Beck of Bryan, Kay (Larry) Radloff of Stryker, Pete (Brenda) Beck of West Unity, and Daniel (Linda) Beck of West Unity; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-granddaughters. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; granddaughter, Wendy Beck; brother, Bud Nafziger, and sister, JoAnn Wyse.
Visitation for Marion R. Beck will be held Monday, February 12, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Joe Beck and Harvey Hacker, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity.
