Marjorie “Margie” L. Moyer, age 92, of Wauseon, Ohio died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the CHP Defiance Area Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
She was born November 20, 1925 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late Jesse and Beatrice M. (Turner) Jackson. She married Robert Moyer on February 09, 1946 and moved to Mt. Cory, Ohio. Robert preceded her in death on May 13, 2003. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Wauseon, Ohio.
She worked in floral shops, operated her own beauty shop and worked on the family farm. Margie was very active in Mt. Cory and Pandora churches. She loved to entertain, play cards and make throws for her family and friends.
She is survived by: two sons, Tom (Jane) Moyer, Wauseon, Ohio, Dean (Cass) Moyer, Stanley, North Carolina, and one daughter, Diane Moyer, Warner Robins, Georgia. Six grandsons: Andrew (Jacki) Moyer, Ben (Jessica) Moyer, Brian (Lauren) LaRue, Austin (Ashley) LaRue, Ethan Moyer, and Wesley Moyer. Eight great-grandchildren: Payton, Addison and Brooklyn Moyer, Trenton Moyer, Avery and Paisley LaRue, Madelyn and Mason LaRue.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Moyer and she was the last of eleven brothers and sisters.
