Michael Schaefer of Antioch, Tennessee, 56, suddenly passed away on Dec. 11, 2018. Michael leaves behind his wife, Mary Lynne (Batt) of 29 years, and son, Brayden.
Surviving him are his brother, Tim (Jane); sister, Shelly Price (Randy); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Joyce, and his brother, Dave.
Michael worked at Carroll-Ames, the family’s business. He continued his career in management at Lowe’s. Michael also worked at WBNO and EMS squad 2. Michael graduated from Defiance College.
Michael enjoyed NASCAR, sports and gardening. He was an avid photographer and proud member of the Jaycees.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 29 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 715 Jefferson Ave., Defiance, Ohio.
