GOLF TOURNAMENT … Harry Nix spoke to Montpelier Rotary Club recently about the history of Patriot Hills Golf Course. Harry and his wife Kris purchased the course in 2017 and saved it from a transition to a farm field. A veteran of 38 years in the military, and with four children having served in multiple branches, Harry describes himself as having “an affinity for those who have served in the military”. Harry told the club about the work it took to get the club back to its current playable condition but also about the Denny Balzer Golf Tournament. Funds raised in the annual tournament go to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org). Harry was the guest of Rotarian Dan Sheperd.
