Nikolaus “Nikolai” Bezruczko of Fayette, Ohio, died January 30, 2013 at the age of 88.
Born March 18, 1924 in Genechsk, Ukraine he was the son of Evan and Tanya Bezruczko. He came to America in the 1950’s with his wife Alouisa and son Nikolaus. He worked as a machine operator for Morenci Rubber Plant for 38 years. He moved to Indianapolis as he became ill to be closer to his son Alexander who helped care for him.
Nikolaus is survived by his sons Alexander, Nikolaus, and Mark Bezruczko; daughters Mary (William) Kenley and Paula (Travis) Cunningham; as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by spouses Alouisa Bezruczko and Vera Bezruczko, and daughter Anna Baldwin.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 1 from 1 to 3 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis with a Service beginning at 3 PM. Burial will take place Saturday, February 2 at 12:30 PM in Pleasant View Union Cemetery, Fayette, Ohio.
