NORTH CENTRAL BOARD OF EDUCATION: Board Approves President & Vice President For New Year

The North Central Board of Education held their Organizational Meeting on Monday, January 14th.

The meeting began at 4:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. First came nominations by board members for the position of board president and board vice president.

Nominations were made for Kati Burt to serve as board president and Tim Livengood to serve as board vice president, with a motion to accept made and approved by the board.

Board members then voted to establish the regular meeting dates for 2025, with meetings to be held in the auditeria.

It was then that the following committee appointments were made. Dustin Meyers and John Huffman to the Budget Commission, Kati Burt to the Legislative Liaison, Tim Livengood as the Student Achievement Liaison, and Martha Hasselbusch as the Superintendent Pro-Tem.

Several items were then passed by board members that give both the superintendent and treasurer certain authorities to conduct business, as well as the dispensing of minutes of the previous meeting.

Following the approval of these items, the meeting was adjourned at 4:09 p.m.
