Patricia Ann Morehouse, age 86, of Evansport, passed away on Wednesday evening at Mercy Hospital of Defiance. Patricia had worked a LaChoy Food Products in Archbold and helped her husband, Ed, on their farm.
She was born in Defiance on April 2, 1929. In 1949 she married Edward D. Morehouse, and he preceded her in death in 1989. Pat enjoyed the Detroit Tigers, gardening, and was fond of the Stryker Schools. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving is her son, Jerry Morehouse of Defiance; grandchildren, Holly (Elbie) Atkinson of Defiance, Sheri (Terry) House of Niles, MI, Scott (Katrina) Morehouse of Sherwood, and Amy Yates of Defiance She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Newberry of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; her parents; great-grandson, Anthony; two brothers George and John Roehrig; and sister Cora Naveau.
Visitation for Patricia will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Evansport United Methodist Church, and on Tuesday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, with Pastor Becky Ploughe, officiating. Interment will follow in the Evansport Cemetery.
