Peggy Jane Krieger, age 87, of Delta, peacefully passed away Monday morning, January 4, 2016 at Swanton Valley Care Center. Peggy was born in Toledo on February 1, 1928 to the late Robert J. Todd and Florence (Pierce) Todd. She graduated in 1946 from Whitney High School in Toledo. Peggy married Robert E. Mattin and together were blessed with five children. After the early passing of Robert in 1959; she later married James D. Krieger; who also preceded her in death.
While raising her family, Peggy had several places of employment including, the Delta Twist-T-Freez, Delta Laundromat and a teller with First Federal Bank of Delta.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her sons, Roger D. and Ronald D. Mattin; daughter, Vickey Mattin; sister, Jean Meyer and brothers, Jackson and Robert Todd.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Gene H. Mattin and Robert T. Mattin, Sr. both of Delta; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Spetz of Oregon, OH.
