(September 9th, 2014)-TOLEDO: The Blackbirds of Pettisville marched onto Toledo Waite’s home field and claimed it as their own. The traveling Blackbirds obliterated Waite, 10-0.
Pettisville took 15 shots at Waite’s net, nailing two-thirds of their shot attempts. By comparison, Waite only got off two shot attempts at the Pettisville goal, making neither of them.
Scoring for the boys of Pettisville was led by Jordan Bontrager and Stuart Yoder, with each player making two goals. Other scorers for the Blackbirds include Mikala Avina, Jakob Waidelich, Josh Liechty, Matt Hulbert, Tate Kauffman, and Landon Roth.
