
Rev. Hal W. Zug, 86, of Marion, Ohio, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, from his home. He was born in Wauseon on July 17, 1932, to the late Harry A. and Lillian Gladys (Stevens) Zug. He married the former Millicent Riethman in Ravenna, Ohio, on July 26, 1958, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 16, 2016, in Marion.
Rev. Zug served in churches of Hocking Valley Parish, Paulding, Ohio, Fayette, and for 11 years with the Central Christian Church of Marion. He also served as camp administrator for Camp Christian in Magnetic Springs, Ohio.
Surviving are three daughters, Sheryl Lynn Reeve of Marion, Ann Marie Zug of Swanton, and Amy Jo (Bill) Wise of Grove City, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Tyler and Aaron Reeve, Dillon Zug, and Bryton and Garrett Wise. Rev. Zug was also preceded in death his son-in-law, Joel Reeve.
A memorial service is to be held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at Central Christian Church in Marion, with Pastors Kerry Reed, Ken Coy, and Russell Goldner officiating. Burial will take place in Wauseon at a later date.
