Rosie Gomez-Yant, age 57, of Wauseon, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.
Rosie was born in Fulton County, Ohio on February 12, 1958, the daughter of Francisco and Cleofus (Ramon) Gomez. She was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon.
Surviving is her daughter, Christine (Michael) Zirgibel of Wauseon; son, Ted Gonzales of Napoleon; grandchildren, Isaiah Gonzales, Chandller Aguilar, Larry Moreno, Jaxson Zirgibel, Alex Gonzales and Karlee Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Aguilar and Lisia Perez. She is also survived by brothers, Roy Gomez of Archbold, Rosendo Gomez of Wauseon, Richard Gomez of Archbold, Bob Gomez of Tennessee; sisters, Lydia Anthes, Olga Salinas of Wauseon, Mary Serado of Weston, and Noellia Flores of Wauseon. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Butch, Ray and Frank Gomez.
