STRYKER – With only one letterwinner returning to the fold for the 2012-13 campaign, the Montpelier Locomotives are seriously short on experience. That lone letterman, Blaine Thorp, did yeoman’s work against the Stryker Panthers on January 12, but his team-high 18 points was lacking support as the Panther Pack rolled to a 50-36 win in The Cage.

Parker Ruffer and Hunter Clingaman played a thunder and lightning role for the Panther Pack, landing 20 and 15 points respectively. Luke Graber hit for 5 points, Austin Robison kicked in 4 points off the bench, and Dean Beamont and Tanner Clingaman each had 3 points.

Alex Matzinger fired off 8 points for the Locos, with Nate McCord adding 4 points, and Jacob Leung, Parker Houk and Cody Caudill each dropping a deuce.
