Sharon Diana Leverton, age 73, of Delta, passed away under hospice care at her Delta home, Sunday, October 20, 2024 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Toledo to the late Edward and Dorothy (Pauly) Williams on November 16, 1950.
On July 19, 1975, she married Donald E. Leverton and together they spent 41 years together until his passing in 2016. Sharon was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Cyrena (Grant Barnhill) Leverton of Delta and Colleen (Ben) Ward of Perrysburg; brother, Harold Williams of Maumee; grandchildren, Sara Leverton, Michelle (Zach) Houston, Alexis Leverton, Mariah (Austin) Deck, Dominick Ward and Devon Ward; great grandchildren, Kimberly, Kohl, Katilynn, Natalie, Brantley, Tayden and Bella.
Along with her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Richard Leverton in 2009; brother, Steve Williams and great granddaughter, Rylee Ward.
Friends and family will be received from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta. A graveside service for Sharon will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024 at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery near Dowling, Ohio. Pastor Matthew Voyer will be officiating.
