DELTA – The Tigers struck for seven runs in the fifth inning to seal the 16-1 win at Delta. Robbie Thacker paced Holgate with three hits and three RBIs while Bryce Gillen singled twice for Delta.

PIONEER – The Eagles scored four runs in the bottom of seventh to close the gap but couldn’t get any closer as they lost for the first time this season.

Connor Gendron had a double and 2 RBIs while Sam Wheeler accounted for a single, double, and batted in a run.

PETTISVILLE – Liz Rochefort was 3-4 and drove in three runs and got the win in the circle as Pettisville defeated Holgate 12-5.

Lily Wiemken added a four-hit day for Pettisville including a double and 2 RBIs.

Hilltop 11-17 Evergreen 10-1

METAMORA – Hilltop used a big fifth inning to take game one and then pounded out 17 hits in game two as they swept a double header from the Vikings.

In game one, Evergreen scored seven runs in the third to take an 8-4 lead. Hilltop answered back with five runs in the fourth to go back on top and hold on for an 11-10 win.

Lana and Leanna belted back-to-back home runs for Hilltop with Lana Baker finishing with three RBIs.

Macy Chamberlin was 4-5 with two home runs, a double, and four runs knocked in for Evergreen.

Hilltop took control early in game two by taking a 7-0 lead after two innings and rolled to a 17-1 win in five innings.

Giada Rising earned the win in game two by going five innings allowing one run on three hits with four strikeouts. Chamberlin went deep for Evergreen for her third home run of the day.
