The Superior Township Trustees met in a regular session on Tuesday, March 24 at the township office.
Trustees in attendance were Mike Trausch and Jacob Borton with Dan Gillen being absent. Also present were fiscal officer Vanessa Shepard and township employee Cody Boyd.
Regarding the purchase of trees for Riverside Cemetery, Shepard informed the trustees the trees can be purchased through the Echler Fund.
The Echler family specified the trees for the township to purchase include Red Maple trees, flowering, nut-bearing, or ornamental trees.
Trustees were given an updated fire runs report. Boyd said the township needs to ensure Montpelier does not bill it for fire response services following a couple of recent fires involving the Montpelier Wastewater Plant.
Boyd also addressed a crossover pipe problem located on County Road M-75, just west of County Road 10.
