Teresa O. (Mayer) Whitlock, age 58, of Butler, Indiana, passed away in her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Teresa had been a Registered Nurse and had worked for Community Living, Inc. in Angola, Indiana for 25 years.
Teresa was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 18, 1954, the daughter of Pearl and Virginia (Smith) Oliver. She attended the Jerusalem Community Church in Butler. On April 18, 2009 she married Merrill Whitlock, and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Stimmler and Amanda (Peter) Schnellenberger; her mother, Virginia Henson; two brothers, Jeff (Lisa) Oliver, Darrell Oliver; step-brothers and sisters, Joanne (Jim) Bauman, Norman (Judy) Whitlock, Elaine (Richard) Jaggers, Ruthanne (Tracy) Hammond, Dave (Chris) Whitlock, Marlin (Karen) Whitlock, Stanley (Sheila) Whitlock, Richard (Lisa) Whitlock, Niel (Rhonda) Whitlock; step-children, Rebecca (Fred) Hogle, Debbie Whitlock, and John (Karen) Whitlock; five step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters, Patty Evans and Sharon Miller; daughter-in-law, Irene Whitlock; step-son, Michael Whitlock and step-daughter Sarah Whitlock.
