Theresa M. Griffin, age 82, of Bryan, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center following a brief illness.
Theresa was a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church. She enjoyed reading and playing bingo.
Theresa was born June 30, 1940 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Jacob and Gertrude (Sanders) Kerns.
She married Clayton E. Griffin on December 31, 1985 in Hicksville, Ohio and He survives.
Theresa is also survived by her children, Carol Blum, of Bryan, David Hafner, of Hicksville, Donna Bailer, of Bryan and John (Joan) Bailer, of Auburn; stepson, Adam L. Smith, of Angola; eight grandchildren, Katherine (Donovan) McClary, of Edgerton, Lisa Blum, of Kenton, Christopher Church and John Cooper, both of Archbold, Courtney Smith, of Auburn and Amber Bailer, of Fort Wayne, Karina and Maya Smith, Angola; numerous great grandchildren and siblings, Rita (Rex) Roy, Mike (Carolyn) Kerns and Larry (Sharon) Kerns, all of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; great granddaughter, Journey McClary, brother, Steven Kerns and sister, Ruth Bright.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan with Pastor Mike Slagle officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Bethlehem Christian Union Church.
