(1998 Graduate Of Delta High School)

Tommy Lee Brown Jr, age 44, passed away unexpectedly at his Swanton home on September 5, 2024. He was born in Wauseon on December 27, 1979 to Tommy Lee Brown Sr and Ruth Ann (McIntosh) Brown.

Tommy was a 1998 graduate of Delta High School. Soon after graduating, he worked for Swanton Welding and Machine as a welder/ fabricator for over 15 years.

Tommy loved all things involving “Man Stuff”, including fireworks, fishing, hunting and enjoying a good campfire. He was known for his exceptionally kind heart and would give the shirt off his back if needed.

Tommy was known to all the neighborhood children for his handing out popsicles on hot summer days; so much that he was fondly referred to as the “Popsicle Man”.

He also was well educated in astronomy and music, especially heavy metal. Spending time with his friends and family were some of the greatest joys in his life. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Lee Brown Sr. in 2012.

Left to cherish him are his mother, Ruth Ann Kreger of Lambertville, MI; brother, Scott (Davena) Brown of Delta and sister, Jamie (Gordon) Winland of Wauseon; partner, Nikki Tedrow; children, Brody, Alexis and Seth Tedrow; nieces and nephews, Austin, Kesley, Haley, Lindsey, Colton, Garrett and Gavyn; and loyal canine companion, “Lilo”.

Friends and family will be received from 2:00 PM -8:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A funeral service honoring Tommy’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 also at the funeral home. Pastor Rex Stump will be officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 10 Cottonwood Lane, White Plains, NY 10605 in Tommy’s name.

Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
