WAUSEON: March 31, 2014 – Call it the early season jitters, but call it ugly regardless. A combined six errors led to four unearned runs, one of which proved to be the undoing of the Wauseon Indians in their 5-4 loss to Rossford on March 31.
Clay Tefft was saddled with the loss as he went the first 4 2/3 innings, allowing 5 runs, 4 earned on 5 hits and 5 walks, punching out 7. Peyten Shadbolt finished the game, fanning 2 and walking a pair. Axel Bueter drove in two with a single, with Shadbolt, Ty Suntken, Jacob Newlove and Caleb Andrews each collecting a base hit.
