Wauseon Indians’ Pitching Leads Tribe To Doubleheader Sweep Of Lima Shawnee

LIMA: April 5, 2014 – Ty Suntken and Clay Tefft both fired complete game efforts and the Wauseon Indians bats did the rest as the Tribe swept a doubleheader from Lima Shawnee on April 5, 2-0 and 6-3

Game #1

Suntken pitched a three hit shutout in the opening game, fanning 13 and walking 3. Jacob Newlove roped a double, and Tefft, Axel Bueter and Nate Suntken each had singles for the Tribe.

Lima Shawnee 0 – 3 – 0

Game #2


Tefft went the route in game #2, allowing 3 runs, 2 unearned on 4 hits and 7 passes, whiffing 5. Nate Suntken had a home run and 2 RBIs, Josh Whitcomb plated a pair with a single, Jac Flory had an RBI base hit, Bueter had a pair of singles, and Ty Suntken and Peyten Shadbolt each had a base hit.
