(December 18th, 2014) – WAUSEON: Yet to lose a game this season, the Wauseon Junior Varsity boys are used to putting a lot of points on the scoreboard. But a stingy Swanton defense gave them their first real test of the year.
They passed with an 18-11 score.
By the end of the first quarter, both teams were deadlocked at 3 points apiece. The Indians gave themselves a cushion in the second quarter, taking a 9-5 lead into the half. In the third period, Wauseon gained a slightly larger advantage with a 5-2 quarter in their favor. The two North Western Ohio Athletic League teams then added the same amount to each of their scores in the fourth quarter, giving Wauseon a hard fought 7 point win.
Will Dorsey scored 6 points to lead the Indians to victory. Chase Brock and Derek Anderson both totaled 3 points as well.
