The names of the recipients will be announced at the Senior High Awards night. The club will be sponsoring the month of February 2027 at the Senior Center. Members can begin collecting bingo prizes and Valentine-themed items.
Discussion was also held concerning involvement with Unity Days in June. A decision will be made after more information is obtained. A slate of officers for the coming year was presented by the nominating committee and they will be installed at the May meeting.
President Rose Miller reviewed a history of the club since it formed in 1962 when it began as a federated club.
Today it is open to all women of the area who have a heart for seeing our local community thrive.
The final meeting of the year will be held May 11 at the home of Vicki Durling with a Spring Fling Fiesta luncheon and installation of officers.
