The Fayette Opera House, located at 105 East Main Street, held a Palm Sunday dinner and Gospel Concert on Sunday, April 2nd.

The dinner featured oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed vegetables, a fresh garden salad, French bread, desserts and a refreshment.

The Gospel Concert was put on by the group 1 A.D., pronounced as 180. The group, all from Northwest Ohio, has been together for over 20 years.

Current members are Bill Beck on Guitar and Vocals, Kathy Beck on Button Accordion and Vocals, Scott Allen on Drums, Karen Nyce Stuckey on Piano, Brent Gingerich on Bass and Vocals, Mark Nafziger on Harmonica and Vocals, Kel Friesen on Pedal Steel and Vocals.

Brent Gingerich was not able to attend this event so Scott King filled in for him on Bass.

Their style is a mix of gospel, folk, and country. They currently perform at banquets, private parties, and at churches.

The music was fantastically performed by the group. Each instrument paired beautifully together with each other and blended in with the vocals.

Over 40 people were present to enjoy this beautiful music that was designed to give praise to the lord.

Paired with the Palm Sunday dinner, this was an event to be a part of this past Sunday.
