Carol J. Welker, 72, of Montpelier and formerly of Los Angeles passed away Monday evening at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan. She was born on June 19, 1941 in Montpelier to John Henry and Olive (Wiyrick) Casebere.
Carol was a member of the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene. She was a caregiver in the Montpelier area. While in the Los Angeles area she worked as a telemarketer for the Red Cross.
She is survived by one son Randy Lee Creamer of Lansing, Michigan; two daughters Tammy K. Snow of Bryan and Christina Hill of Angola, Indiana; one sister Marilyn Turney of Montpelier; one granddaughter Leslie Mason and fiancé David Belknap of Montpelier; five additional grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two sons Louis Eugene Creamer and Roger Alan Creamer; and one brother Jack Casebere.
Visitation will be on Saturday February 8th from 11am-1:30pm at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home at 335 Empire Street in Montpelier. Services will follow at 1:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Rumple to officiate. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
