Carol Ann Pilarski, age 84, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. Over the years Carol worked at the Bryan Nursing Home, Custom Cleaners and Hillside Country Living.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bryan where she hosted funeral dinners for many years and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Circle. Carol enjoyed camping, reading and knitting.
Carol was born on January 9, 1936, in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Detroit, Michigan by her parents, Leonard and Fannie Marie (Sprague) Richardson. She graduated from McKenzie High School in Detroit. On March 20, 1954, she married Joseph “Joe” Pilarski and he survives.
She is also survived by her children, Vicki Walker, of Edgerton, Brett (Kandice) Pilarski, of Williamson, Michigan and Kay (Seth) Mansfield, of Defiance; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no services at this time. A memorial service celebrating Carol’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
