Carson Bentley (1940-2019)

Carson L. Bentley, age 78, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away at 5:35 P.M. on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers- Bryan.

Mr. Bentley was a “jack of all trades” having worked in different fields all across the country and raced stock cars when he was younger. He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed old westerns, NASCAR and WWE.

Carson L. Bentley was born on August 13, 1940, in Fairfield, Michigan, the son of Robert S. and Hilda M. (Hatt) Bentley. On June 3, 1980, Carson married Cheryl A. Keller, and she survives.

Carson is also survived by his children, Tracy (Kelly) Bentley, of Fayette, Jody Bentley, of Morenci, Troy (Melissa) Bentley, of Fayette, Robert (Kami) Bentley, of Montpelier, Aron (Maria) Bowlin, of Oceanside, California, Treysa Bowlin, of Bryan, Elizabeth (Jason) Kimble, Lara Wyse and Mary (Joe) Kimble, all of Hudson; twenty four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Curtis (Karen) Bentley, of Fayette and sisters, Bervolee Kerr of Camden, Michigan and Faye (Allen) Kerr, of Alvordton. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Verl, Bernard and Rexford Bentley and sisters, Linda Furr and Robin Bentley.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service celebrating Carson’s life will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Janet Strickland officiating.

Memorials donations are requested to Cancer Assistance of Williams County.
