Dee Leslie Murphy, 57, of Waynesville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Dee was born June 2, 1957 in Augusta, Georgia to Robert and Berna Murphy.
Dee graduated from Mount Tahoma HIgh School in Tacoma, Washington in 1975. He moved to Montpelier, Ohio in 1977 where he worked at Martin Sprocket & Gear for 18 years and Plastech for 12 years. He resided in Montpelier until he moved to Waynesville, Missouri in 2008.
Dee is survived by his wife, Krystal, children Bridgette Murphy and Brandon Murphy, stepsons Benjamin Martin and Charles Martin, father Robert Murphy, sisters Norma Kirk and Valorie Hunter, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Dee was preceded in death by his mother Berna, brother Ken and sister Kim. A small service will take place in his honor at the House of Prayer on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
