PIONEER – The North Central Lady Eagles got strong performances from Shaylee Oyer and Bralyn Wyrick, but the hailstorm of threes from Connor Sullivan, Conner Varner and Michaela Rupp were too much to overcome as the Stryker Lady Panthers took a 49-39 BBC decision on January 17.
Varner had a game-high 23 points, including a pair of threes, while Sullivan went long three times on the way to 11. Rupp rang up a pair of rainbows for 9 total points, with Emily Rupp adding 3, Maddie Uribes 2 and Hannah Doehrmann one point.
Oyer led the Lady Eagles with 18 points, and Wyrick threw down 13. They were the only hometown girls to reach double digits though, as Julia Rhinard had 4 points and Hannah Siekemeyer and McKayla Swank had 2 points apiece.
